A special celebration in honor of Military Veterans and their dependents.

Military Photos Needed:  Photos are needed for a photo presentation on Veteran’s Day on November 11th. Photos of military personnel from the church and from the families are welcome.  There will be upcoming announcements on special projects for November and December – opportunities to write military personnel, send care packages and the like.  Drop off photos in the Church Office.  Contact Jamie Sanders and/or Kim Reeder for more information on projects.

 

  • DATE CHANGE FOR CHRISTMAS PROGRAM: NOW –   Sunday, December 23th at 6:00 p.m., we will have our multi-generational Christmas Program.  Please reserve a place for us on your calendar.  This year’s version of the Nativity story promises to be both fun and meaningful and we hope you’ll plan to attend.  interested in participating in the program, contact Angel Barnes by e-mail – ahetsmom@bellsouth.net, or Facebook, or by text at 596-1813.

 

  • Bible Study – Wednesday 10:00 – noon: Wednesday Bible study (open to all), Grounded in Creed.  Grounded in Creed is a study that explores the biblical foundations of this familiar creed.

Please join us for All Saints Sunday on November 4th. We will be celebrating the lives of those precious members that we lost this past year. A candle on the altar that will be lit in remembrance and honor of each Saint who now sits in Glory with our Savior.

November 4th is also Hat Sunday!

Trustees meet November 15th at 6:30p.m.

November 17th UMM meet at 8 a.m. and Morning Glories meet at 9 a.m.

November 18th we will have a special service followed by our Thanksgiving Fellowship dinner at 6:00 p.m.

November 25th will be Student Sunday. In this service we will be taking up a special offering that will go towards the fund used by our Mississippi conference that pays 50% of the tuition for Seminary for our pastors throughout the state. Our Pastor, Rev. Diane is one of the pastors that was funded and soon Tommy Clifford will be in this program as well. Please help us support this wonderful program in our conference!
